Annual Meeting of the Friends of Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru 2019
This year’s meeting will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at 2pm at the Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies, adjacent to the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.
Myrddin ap Dafydd
We look forward to hear what our President, Myrddin ap Dafydd has to say, and are grateful that he has found a window in the busy diary of the Archdruid in order to be with us. The Friends of GPC are very proud of our President’s appointment as Archdruid and congratulate him sincerely.
Our guest speakers this year are the acclaimed lexicographer and grammarian D. Geraint Lewis, noted for his enthusiasm for the Welsh language, and Ann Parry Owen, an expert in the field of medieval Welsh language and poetry, who also happens to be a member of the Dictionary’s staff.
We look forward to what promises to be an entertaining afternoon. Light refreshment will be provided, giving the opportunity to socialize after the talks.
